My top 5 lip balms/glosses :)

Hi everyone, just a quick post today, so busy! Going to see The Wanted tomorrow so there should be an OOTD and concert post up on Sunday night. :)

My top 5 lip balms/glosses.

No. 5
Inecto pure coconut lip balm - Bodycare - £0.99
This is just a plain clear balm, but it is really moisurising and cheap so it does the job! I use this if I just want something plain on and aren't feeling like a lot of lip balm :)

No. 4
I love mango & papaya glossy lip balm - (Can be bought from superdrug although mine came free with an I love... gift bag from Clothes Show Live!) £?

This balm smells AMAZING! If I had to describe the smell I would say it smells of cocktails in the summer. Perfect for those chapped lips winter days - I love it.

No. 3
I love coconut & cream shimmer & shine lipgloss £?

This is another I love.. cosmetics product. This one came in the gift bag that the mango & papaya came in aswell actually. I know it's another coconut one, but I am a sucker for coconut smells! Lol. This one is kind of a dupe for no. 2 if you scroll down...

No. 2
Primark's coconut smashing, soft & dreamy lip balm - £1

This has to be one of my favourite products of all time! I have gone through like 4 of these now. It has a really smooth thick texture and makes your lips really glossy. It's only in primark now and then, which is annoying, but if you come across it, pick one up! It looks kind of yellow in the picture below, apologies it is pure white in person.

No. 1
Collection 2000, plastique high shine lip gloss in nude 20

This is my go to lip product and has been for years. I don't know where I originally purchased it, but I now buy it online because it is the only place I can find it. I used to wear nude 45 but this one is a nude 20. As you can see I have nearly worn it out, the name is all scratched off. I wish this product was easier to get hold of, but if you ever see it definitely buy it! It's awesome!

Current hair care routine :-)

I wash my hair either twice or three times a week. I have been using this "Provoke Touch of silver - Twice a week brightening shampoo" for a long time now and absolutely LOVE it! You can definitely tell the difference after only one wash. It helps to protect your hair and the purple pigment in the shampoo removes orangey/brassy tones from your hair. I buy mine for £2.79 from bodycare. Definitely 10/10 - I don't know what I'd do without this. (Picture below)

As a conditioner, this is a recent favourite product I have found. Herbal essences "beautiful ends split end protection mask" is a god send! I have very damaged bleached hair and this makes it manageable. It is so amazing and makes my hair feel like hair again, instead of straw. You can sometimes buy it on offer in superdrug for £2. BARGAIN!

Just before Christmas time, I felt my hair needed a treat, so I picked up this Inecto, Pure coconut heat protecting leave in conditioner. It smells lush! The only thing I would say about this is you only need a few squirts, too much and it makes your hair go a bit flat & lifeless.

I rarely use heat to style my hair these days, only for special occasions. But I still use heat protectant when blow drying my hair. At the moment I am using schwarzkopf's supersoft heat protecting straightening spray. So far it seems good, but I'll do an updated review if anything changes :)

How to get bleach blonde hair from Dark brown! - my experience

As you will have seen in my haul the other day ( http://makeupbysarahleanne.blogspot.com/2012/02/hauley-haul-haul-naughty-shopping-spree.html ), I bought some purple hair dye, which I am going to do myself at home next month. While I'm still blonde I thought I would do a blog post on my current hair...

I won't recommend starting to go blonde if you don't have patience, it took me a long while to get it to a colour I liked.

After going from dark chocolate brown to blonde, the first step was to get my hair stripped. You can do this yourself at home with kits you can buy from superdrug/boots. I went to my local college trainee salon, where they managed to get it to a orangey - caramel/brown colour.

I then had a full head of highlights. I wouldn't recommend getting highlights because it doesn't look natural and it left my hair looking very stripy. I then had highlights again and again due to a hairdressers recommendation. I shouldn't have listened to her in my opinion. (I haven't been to her since).

Before: (Yes I know I look orange 0.0 )

After stripping and full head of highlights x 2:
I waited a few months for my hair to have a break before dying it again. Eventually, I managed to get a strawberry blonde colour using Schwarzkopfs vital colours in shade 11 - light blonde. Here is a picture of the box, followed by what colour my hair turned out.

I then left it another few months until I made a big MISTAKE! I used schwarzkopfs live colour XXL in ice blonde. It ruined my hair! :( Not only did it make it feel like straw, it went orange! Bits of my hair was falling out in the shower. I spoke to my current hairdresser about it and she said it is known to reck your hair. If you are thinking of buying this - DON'T!

Yes my hair looks awful, sorry about the tshirt ;)

I then had to go into town to get some more hair dye so I looked acceptable. I bought nice n easy's natural light ash blonde in shade 102. I didn't even care if it went brown, I just didn't want orange hair. It turned out GORGEOUS. It went a really ashy blonde. Picture below.

From then on I just used Live salon style in frozen pearl blonde to touch up my roots. Here is a picture of my hair now:
Hope you enjoyed this blog post, a blonde hair care article should be coming up real soon. Any post requests/questions leave in the comments below :)

New shoes! Jessie J leopard print creepers

Sorry to post two hauls so close together, but I just had to show you these!

Creepers are coming into fashion for spring and although I don't tend to buy things according to what is on trend, I really love these type of shoes. (For those of you who don't know what they are, scroll down)

I first saw a pair like this on Jessie J's video for her latest single domino, I have posted a pic of what she was wearing with them below. Jessie J is one of my style icons and it was love at first site with her shoes!

I had been putting off buying some creepers for a while, but then I saw these on missguided (link below). I got an email saying they were online to buy and within twenty minutes all the size 5's had sold out. I bought a size 4 and they fit perfect! Thank goodness! The pair I bought only have leopard print tongues, so they are definitely more wearable and cheaper than Jessie's! They were £26.99 but I managed to get 10% discount from their facebook so it came to £26.24 including the £1.95 postage fee.

Post a comment below if you are interested in what I am going to style these with :) What do you think?

Please follow! I would really appreciate it! :)
